TechHireĀ is an initiative that focuses on attaining jobs not only for those who studied the STEM field, but those who are great at it.

A Mission EDC initiative that connects local employer, Royal Technologies and Sylvan Learning with local youth in an effort to expose students to opportunities in Engineering, Design and Manufacturing careers in the Rio Grande Valley.
Timeline
- Summer of 2015
- 200 local elementary students introduced to over 35 engineering concepts
- October of 2015
- Royal Technologies invited the summer and fall classes of 2015 to participate in a design competition on Manufacturing Day.
- Fall of 2015
- Students designed and built over 64 original structures.
